Sea…Sand…Sanibel…Ft. Myers Photographer
In our class “Beyond Layers” we are studying this week using black and white actions on our photos then adding a “touch” of color.
Top photo just brings the feeling of peace and serenity to mind.
The second photo with the great looking guy…that is my husband, the all american fisherman. He goes NO WHERE without his bright yellow bait pail.
The last photo with the birds, I had to use the smallest of brushes to paint the color back on. Can you see it on a few of the beaks?
This is a technique that I usually don’t use on my photos, but after trying it out a few times I really value this look and can see where this will be a great tool to use in the future. I think this would look great printed on a canvas in your home how about you?
What is your thought on adding just a touch of color to a black and white photo?
I would love to give this love to a few of your photos, just reply in the comment box.
Have a great Monday!

Nicely done! Looking forward to trying the technique.
