We Travel Not To Escape Life…

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us ~ Anonymous

As we approach summer, I hope you can take some time to see the beautiful world that has been made just for YOU!

Tip for Bloggers/Photographers:

  • Taking a photo crouched down often make your photos look more interesting. See example from above.
  • Travel and photography are the perfect pair. Don’t do one without the other.

I love to hear your thoughts on the quote today…

Friends…thanks for giving us a few minutes of your day today!! We love to inspire and give encouragement where we can.

  1. Thanks Laurie for the like on my blog. I am now following you on Pinterest(still figuring that one out) and liked you on FB so let the fun begin!

  2. I would love to travel to my heart’s content. It’d be awhile, I know, before I was home for any good measure of time (and I love home, but traveling is downright fun!).

  3. Trying to get photos of animals, I can fully vouch for the need to spend a lot of time crawling around on the floor 🙂 Great pics and I love the quote. One cannot escape oneself but one can certainly allow life to escape if it is not explored.

  4. I do like that tip and the prospective you’ve captured in your street shot Laurie. I travel to challenge myself. I’m a nester, very comfortable at home. When I travel, I’ll try something new, eat something new and see something new.

  5. Love your pairing of photos there Laurie .
Here’s to life not escaping any of us just yet 🙂 enjoy your weekend to the full !

  6. Oh I do so love the perspective of getting down low…my problem is, once I get down, I find it really difficult to get back up. Age…yikes!! Great shots, love them both.

  7. Love that quote; never thought of it that way :o) Great pics too and I agree about getting down low! It does create a very unique and interesting shot! Great tip! Hope you have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend :o)

Please share your thoughts...and thank you for the love!
