Parents Hold Their Children’s Hands For A While…
Parents hold their children’s hands for a while, their hearts forever!
We went to a new beach on Memorial Day Weekend.
Surf Side Beach had a very unique quality to it, you were allowed to drive your car right on the beach, who knew you could still do this in America! The parking fee was only $12.00 to use for the rest of the year!
You can see my husband’s truck, behind Little Miss or should I say “CUTE ONE!”
It was a very dreary day, but we made the best of it.
We all agreed…it was nice NOT to have the sun beating down on us.
It just didn’t make for pretty pictures to say the least.
Little Man above, is doing his “NINJA WARRIOR” moves. Smile…
They decided they were going to TRY and bury themselves…
I hope they continue to have fun with each other…for the rest of their days.
Here is my latest video…
I think you will get a chuckle or two watching this one. Smile. Click on the photo above.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Stay blessed my friends,
How awesome!! This is my local beach!! Welcome to my neck of the woods!! I’ve lived here all of my life and I truly mean it when i tell people there is no other place I’d rather be!!! 😍
Well, if this is your neck of the woods…we probably only live an hour apart!! It is a very unique beach, we really enjoyed ourselves. Laurie
Yes, ma’am. We sure do! I live in Brazoria County and I wouldn’t have it any other way, we love it here!
I love an overcast day at the beach, and your photos turned out so well!
Laurie, It sure is more comfortable out on a cloudy day, that is for sure!! Have a great week.
What wonderful shots! And such a treat to see you too.
Thank you!! It is harder for me to show myself compared to the adorable grandkids…LOL.
Oooh, Little Miss is so CUTE! Lovely photos, Laurie!
I know Amy, I could just squeeze her to death! LOL.
Time at the beach! And with such adorable companions! I love your pictures and the processing? The colors are beautiful.

So lovely to see them thriving, Laurie. 🙂
Jo, that is so sweet of you to say. Thank you for your kind words. XO Laurie
I love that saying you have on the top, it is so true. How fast your grandchildren grow, and they are adorable! Enjoy every moment!
Yes, they grow up TOO fast, grammie, here is NOT happy…smile. Thank you for your visit.
Such cute pictures. Great organizing tips, Laurie. I do love that sunglass case!

That was a beautiful addition to the quote…thank you.
You’re welcome! But if you’re like me you just barge in grab the kid and go 🙂
😀
For sure you have done a great job handling the not so great lighting conditions in those photos.
Thank you, I am so glad I decided to still take pics for the memories.
The Little Miss has grown up and almost catching up with her big brother now.. They are so cute!
Yes, the family is saying the same thing. She is catching up very quickly.
So precious!!
Thank you Tamar.
Happy yo see you posting again, wonderful !
I am glad to be back. Have a great weekend.
You too !
Great video and I certainly could use the encouragement to get busy with a little more organization in my closet, too! That seems to be an ongoing task. On another subject, those kiddos are adorable! So very sweet how they get along and you’re so right about praying that lasts a lifetime! Take good care, my friend!
Kathy, I am glad you are getting some encouragement from the video. This is exactly why I do them. The kiddos are growing way too fast, but I know I am preaching to the choir with you. Your grands I am sure, have gotten so big too. Love Ya, Laurie
