It’s A Girl!!

Her name is very unique and gorgeous….but how Grammie is suppose to remember how to spell this one throughout her life, I will never know. Smile.

Ahnalise Grace

She was born on January 11, weighing in at 7 lbs. and 14 ozs.

She is 20.5 in. long and just cute as a button!

I love her already!!!!

Ahnalise is the daughter of our youngest daughter Ashley and her husband Luke.

Can I tell you how strange it is for our BABY to have given birth to a baby?

This precious little girl is clear across the country from her Texas Grandparents…I just don’t know how we are going to survive not seeing her on a continual basis.

BUT..we are thanking Our Lord most of all…for the miracle of life he has brought to our family.

  1. Hurra! Congratulations, dear Laurie!!! The Four of us are celebrating with you as you welcome beautiful Ahnalise Grace (did we get that right?) into the world.
What a fantastic start to the new year.

  2. CONGRATULATIONS GRANDMA!!! So funny, my grandmother used to say the same thing about some of the names in our family…you’ll get used to it. Such a wonderful way to start off the new year!

  3. Congratulations Laurie and family! What a beautiful baby girl you have been blessed with. Enjoy every moment! I love her name!

  4. Oh my goodness! How beautiful and her unique name is BEAUTIFUL too!!! I can feel your heart swelling up to burst. Congratulations, Grammie! I think you will be doing lots of skype and Facetime!

  5. A big welcome to your beautiful Grandbaby girl! She is a sweetie pie! Our daughter’s name is Annalise, a name I fell in love with years ago and was thrilled to be able to use. We call her Annie, I guess it suited her and it stuck. As she’s gotten older we use her formal name more often, but I think she’ll always be Annie! Best wishes to you and your family. πŸ™‚
