Progress Is Impossible Without Change…

Hello, my friends!

How was your New Years?

I think one of the special elements of the holidays is the opportunity to see family and friends more than you do on a normal basis.

It is always such a precious time, even if they are sick…like we had with Little Man during the holidays.

Here you see him, 12 hours before the virus hit his little body.

Sometimes, it is good NOT to know the future…smile.

Can you see how Little Sis is growing? The doctor said, she is already 4 pounds….wonderful!

The New Year brings on reflection and here at Pride in Photos, there has been some thoughts on what changes need to be made for progress.

I have spent a lot of time visiting all the wonderful blogs out there, and have enjoyed it immensely! More than you will ever know. The friendships that have been created…are out of this world.

But the downfall has been to the point of hurting my business. You only have so much time in a day, and it hasn’t been used wisely this past year for our family.

SO with that said, I will not be visiting the other blogs on a regular basis anymore. I have to concentrate on our clients and the business.

Friendship is a two way street and for that reason, I know I will lose some of you.

It makes me sad, but it is something that must be done.

Your blogs have inspired me so!

The photography style that you have seen here….documenting real life moments…storytelling is where my heart is.

If you know of a family that is wanting to capture their life as they really know it…please send me an email. YES, we travel anywhere in the world.

I will let you know that our biggest clients, are photographers themselves. Most of them, are portrait photographers. This is an area, where they see the need for their family, but do not want to go in this arena. They are more than happy to let us in, to capture the families dynamics.

Let me close with the wise words of George Bernard Shaw:

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

PS…Nothing here on this blog is changing…just my time visiting others.

Blessings,
Laurie

  1. This is so understandable! The balance is so hard. The hours of editing, plus family time make the rest a challenge. Best wishes as you plow ahead this year!

  2. Lovely message and even more, photos. I’m so glad Little Man is on the mend.
I wish I could have you come take photos of me for my campaign. Yes, I’m once again running for public office. You’d be the perfect one to get photos of me on my bike. It’s a nice thought, though, right?
