Let’s Hear It For The Boys…TWO-sday Random Day Series #1!
Starting today, I will be doing a series called…TWO-sday…a random day! With that name you can expect…it will be anything RANDOM and in TWOS on TUESDAYS.☺
A photograph can be an instant where life will never cease looking back at you! ~ Brigette Bardot
Well…every morning around 6:45 AM this is what our morning looks like!! Two boys out for their bike ride. Now let me state, that one of them doesn’t even want to be out, at this time of morning! But see, there is a little persistence going on with the other boy. It starts with us still sleeping in bed, and the furry one starts his licking, nudging, sniffing, snorting on daddy’s head, till daddy will get up. The furry one is quiet persistence, this can take up to 20 minutes before Daddy’s ready to get up for this Bicycle built for two event. But never fear, the furry one will stay at it, no matter how long it takes to get his Daddy out of that bed and on that bike built for two!!
So our piece of advice to anyone with animals, don’t ever start something with your furry friend unless you plan on making it a permanent event for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Oh did I happen to mention, the bike event can ONLY go in one direction too! No, Daddy cannot go the wrong way, it has to be the RIGHT direction around the neighborhood. They never forget a routine…and I mean NEVER! Did I say ever before that Yorkies can be VERY stubborn too.
It is a good thing for our furry friend named Dalton, we think he is pretty incredible…most of the time♥
So what goes on in your home on TWO-sdays?

Adorable photo ~ I have Yorkie and she sure is persistent ~ (A Creative Harbor) on Blogger
Great picture – I love the little dog in the basket!
i love that quote you included, so true!!!
Great post. The Furry Ones can be very persistent!
Ha- I’m envisioning trying to put our 100lb boxer in a basket 🙂 We really should go out in the morning before the heat of the day sets in- what great idea.
Dogs are so funny like that. My 70lb Golden Retriever sleeps on my husbands head and if dares to move once it’s light out, it’s all over. If my hubby is away on business, that dog will sleep as long as I want to!
Funny, them! i like your presentation btw, fun and just fitting. Came from Tuesday Pics. 🙂
I have 2 “girls” that I walk in the morning. If I even try to go in a different direction, one will stop in her tracks and not move. Either I go her way or I have to physically pick her up and move her in my direction. Great new series!
I love your boys! Very fun post.
I love your dog Dalton. He is really something else.We sure a have some good laughs
with him
Your TWO boys are just the cutest! Although I don’t have a dog of my own at this point in my life, a certain “friend’s dog” thinks she and I have a routine! I walk in the house, take her out for a quick “you know what” and then run back in the house for a treat! Who has whom set in a routine…..LOL!
Hi Laurie…such a clever blog series! love your “boys”…esp the furry one :~)
This is so cute Laurie! You are so right about don’t start something unless you plan on keeping it up. My one golden retriever knows that we need to head out early every morning for a walk, and we two can only go one direction. He freaks out if I change it up at all. I look forward to this series from you 🙂
Now that’s just the cutest photo ever… and what a great idea to get the creative juices flowing for a blog post. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Rural Thursdays, Laurie.
