Useppa Island Part 1…Fort Myers, Florida Photographer

We had a narrated cruise on Captiva Cruise Line to Useppa that took just over an hour, leaving you just over two hours on the island to dine and see the sights. The hour cruise back to Captiva is the perfect time to relax and take it all in.

Elena from Cropped Stories shared this wonderful textured collage template last week on her blog. She used it for her adorable daughter Alivia’s black and white photos. I decided it would be great with the photos we took last year, with Captiva Cruises to Useppa Island. We had such a marvelous time and I thought what a waste not to share this event with you.

We left from the South Seas Plantation, which by the way…BEAUTIFUL…and boarded the Lady Chadwick (top left picture). We decided to sit on the top deck (top right photo), which was a great decision. Nothing was left to the imagination. You were able to see for miles, breathtaking! Everybody was pointing to something every few seconds to show what was intriguing to them. We saw all kinds of sail boats, one that was called, The Pirate Property (middle left photo). We passed a couple of Osprey bird nests, alot of oooos and aaahhs on the boat during this moment. Who is that cute couple in the middle? Oh yes…my darling husband and his mother enjoying the trip. Can you see the abandoned houseboat off to the right?
It is sinking out in the gulf waters. Hilarious!

I will be posting more images of this trip.
You will LOVE Useppa, once we get there:) Stay tuned…

Thank you for sharing a few minutes with me today.

Happy Tuesday,
Laurie

  1. I’ve been on this cruise several times and it is a great way to see the area! Of course, I NEVER captured it the way you have with your creativity! Looking forward to more……..
