Take Me Out To The Ballgame…
What could be a better way than to celebrate Father’s Day weekend than going to a professional baseball game?
Papaw and I went shopping first for “Little Man.” He couldn’t be without an Astro’s uniform at the ball park!
We were so excited to see how cute he was going to look in his new outfit.
Here is the first image I took, after he was dressed and ready to go. Two very happy boys.
Of course, he had to show us some of his baseball moves too!
Literally, when he is pitching a ball to you, he goes into the pitcher stance and up the knee comes!
The child LOVES his baseball!! Two years old and knows most of the baseball players names on his favorite team…just unreal!
If baseball is on TV, he stops everything and just concentrates on what is happening on the screen and starts cheering the player on.
We get such a delight watching him, the laughs never stop.
Here is crazy Orbit, the Astro’s mascot. I wished you could of seen Little Mans face. If looks could talk it would be whispering… “What is this?”
But, we always make time for lovin’…even at a baseball game!
“Mom, I can’t see who is up to bat?”…
This is serious business…he had no time for Grammie to be taking pictures!
Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;
buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don’t care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don’t win, it’s a shame.
For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out,
At the old ball game.
I hope this put a smile on your face for today.
Have a great week my friends.

Sounds like a super fun day, Laurie! His face on that last image says it all, he is so into it. Such an adorable young man!
The Little Man was serious about the game. Love the last photo, great capture of his expression.
The little guy looks like he is having such fun.
Oh how much fun!! So glad you are close by to enjoy these special times.
I’m not the biggest baseball fan … unless I’m watching in the ball park.
Love this post, Laurie!
Love to see Little Man so engrossed in the game — and looking so cute!
It’s funny. I remember seeing some of the photographs you posted
of the “little man” last year and he is growing up pretty quickly. Looks like he had a blast and a lot of good memories were created 🙂
Looks like a fabulous Father’s Day for all 🙂
Fun!! We’re taking Noam to his first game this summer!
Definitely a great way to spend Father’s Day…Making memories with loved ones. 🙂

I’m not sure it gets much better than that for a Fathers’ Day outing. 🙂 I remember going to the Astrodome many years ago when visiting family in Houston. I see that first photo in a frame where you can enjoy it. 🙂
Can you believe they are thinking about tearing down the Astrodome? Big sigh…
Great story series.
He already knows what he likes. And he looks so cute in his baseball gear 🙂
What a great way to celebrate Father’s Day! Your Little man looks great in his Astros uniform. I’m so impressed at his professional stance in that first image. What a little star! 🙂
I understand if he enjoyed this special day! And his father too…
Yes it did!
What a fun way to spend Father’s Day! Little Man and his great big blue eyes – how adorable!
“Little Man” has everything he wants. It was Father’s Day or “Little Man” ‘day? 😉 The mascot is very friendly.
It was a beautiful day.
Wonderful images of life. That’s precisely where the love for the game starts. 🙂
What adorable pictures! When I saw the title of your post starting humming the song ‘Take me out to the Ballgame’. Then I see that you closed the post with the song. Looks like a really fun day 🙂
The Little Man is definitely “addicted” to the game. Who knows, may be he is a future baseball star.
I was thinking the same thing☺
It is long life on his way and he’ll make right choice for sure who is going to be. But for now I am positive he is going to be Good Man.
