Fashion Friday…Oh, No the Red Hat Again!
Well, you all know how much I LOVE photographing children in hats!
Usually, the tradition is to have my children wear these at Christmas. But this year, the lucky participants were our furry grandchildren.
Mason, took it pretty much in stride…which I found amazing.
He is telling the camera…”Hey, this isn’t too bad.” He is a lot like his Daddy…I am up for anything.
Madison on the other hand…was like “Seriously?” She has very finicky taste…reminds me of her mother…smile.
Isn’t it amazing how the personalities can mimic the parents? Have you ever noticed this in your family?
Bonus Inspiration for the weekend: If you have not watched Brene’ Brown TED Talk….please do yourself a BIG favor today and watch this. It has been the best video I have watched in YEARS!! Brené Brown studies human connection — our ability to empathize, belong, love. In a poignant, funny talk, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity. A talk to share.

Hope you enjoyed Fashion Friday…
These photos definitely put a big smile on my face ! They are sooo cute ! And the photos are really beautiful. Thanks for sharing the link of TED’s talk, I’m interested and will look at the video. Have a wonderful week end Laurie 🙂
I’ll have to watch for the personality thing but I have noticed we have one skinny cat and one round cat…..mmmmmm yep maybe you’re right. Mr B has absolutely no bum and the skinniest legs ever. I’m way envious, LOL.
These puppies are adorable in hats. They remind me of “Go Dog Go” by Dr Seuss.

🙂 Wonderful shots of the 2 adorable ones. Especially Mason looks great, what an expression! 🙂
Looks cute but the dogs may never forgive you. 🙂
Adorable subjects and poses!
Not even a dog person, but these are too cute.

Warm Greetings from cold and snowy Poland.
laurie, forget about the hats…love the EYES!!
I love your dog photos almost as much as your Little Man photos. You keep me smilin’ my dear. And I’m a big Brene Brown fan too. How can you not be? Hugs to you!
LOL! Madison’s expression is priceless!! She looks as enthused about this as all the kiddos did when we tried to herd them for a group picture. LOL! Thanks for the link, Laurie. blessings ~ tanna
Laurie, that second one made me exclaim out loud!! So very, very fun!! Happy weekend to you!

They are cute… and I like their personalities are related to their parents 🙂 Also thank you for the link to Brene.
Aw, so sweet!
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Wondful Laurie. They are so cute!
They both wear them so well!
Both are adorable! 🙂 🙂
Great pictures! So cute! My Bumble hates it when I put a Santa hat on his head and most often it’s no longer there when I shoot a pic 🙂
They are just too cute!
Adorable Laurie! My dog hates wearing one. Been trying for the last two Christmases, no luck. LOL!
OMGoodness, these are cute.
We just got a dog that looks exactly like Mason. 🙂
He is such a sweetheart.
Have a great weekend, Laurie!
Oh Laurie…LOL! That is one stylish schmuppy!
‘hahaha’ – great, very well captured… 🙂
I tried to get some snapshots of our two retrievers wearing our Christmas hats. but no avail.. they thought the hats were something to play tug-of-war with.. So the hats had to be rescued pronto.. before they got too slobbered and unwearable. 😀
Awwww, now that is just too adorable Laurie! Wow! They are so beautiful and precious! Stunning shots hon. Love it! 😀 *hugs*
These are great, so adorable they instantly made me smile! I tried some hats on Zoey the other day thinking they might work for her portraits, but too large. I need to shop for baby hats.
Happy Friday Laurie!!!! hope you have a fantastic weekend too 🙂
Laurie, you certainly have captured their inner spirit. Thanks for the TED Talk suggestion. I have been a fan for years. While they are snippets of information, they build our knowledge and spark curiosity for farther delving.
Soo cute! You did a great job capturing them like that!
Great shot, so cute 😀
The first one is just great…Love his eyes…!!!!!
