How I Lost Over 30 Pounds During Menopause!…
I wanted to update you on life!
The holidays were fantastic! But, I did come down with a nasty head cold that put me in bed for a week.
The reason for the LONG rain delay here.
But, with a New Year comes New Beginnings…
It has been over 4 months, since I introduced to you my weight loss journey.
The journey has NOT been easy, but it does get a little easier day by day!
We can only take it one step at a time, am I right?
If you are in mid-life right now, you know how difficult weight loss can be!
I hope you will take a look at my video, as I talk about what it was like at this stage in my life, to start a weight loss program.
Just an FYI, I did not join any paid programs, there was no gimmicks, I did no heavy exercise and had no surgery.
Starting with baby steps, day in…day out.
After, you view the video, (click on the image above) please come back and give me your thoughts!
I hope this will be of encouragement to YOU!!
If you enjoyed the video, please give it a thumbs up and Subscribe on my YOU-TUBE Channel.
Here is to a healthy New Year!

I greet you and wish you a nice weekend.
Laurie, I am so excited for you!! So awesome that you have gotten yourself so much healthier! Your video is really inspiring, too!! I definitely need to set my mind to losing about 30 pounds. I updated my Lose It app at the first of the year… need to get to using it! Thank you. blessings and hugs ~ tanna
Congratulations! This is what I tell me patients all the time … healthy lifestyle and smart choices in terms of nutrition.
Laurie, I just can’t believe what a difference it has made in my life. Thank you for being here.
Great video, Laurie, and congratulations to you!!!
Lisa, Thank you my friend. It has been a long road and one I hope to continue for life.
Great video, Laurie! Congratulations!
I am glad you liked it. Thank You.
That is so great, Laurie. I really enjoyed your video. I’m feeling motivated again! I had lost 10 pounds before the holidays and haven’t done anything since, so I’ve been too nervous to get on the scales. So, thank you. I’ll check it in the morning, download that app, and start taking some baby steps! Keep up the good work!
I am dancing the happy dance right now, after reading your comment!! Yippee. Hugs, Laurie
Good for you!!
Thank You Tamar. I have been so proud of you with all the exercise you get in your life.
Well done, Laurie. Happy New Yrar to you, too.
Ruth, I hope January is being well to you my friend.
Thanks Laurie. I enjoy seeing your photos and reading your posts. Looking forward to our Spring.
Congrats Laurie and off to watch the video! Great Job on the weight loss ❤
I hoped you liked the video my friend. The second one should be up today. Hope winter is being good to you. Hugs, Laurie
Thanks for the reminder. Yes, loved your weight loss video. Will check your new one soon. Winter has been icy here lately. Hurry up Spring 🙂 Hugs
I am SO glad you are enjoying the videos. You stay safe in those icy conditions my friend! Hugs, Laurie
Congratulations! I did the same thing as I headed into perimenopause, by focusing on health and nutrition, and I’m so grateful I did. It made menopause so much easier – no hormones needed, minimal hot flashes, etc. I wish I had done it much sooner. I think it’s great you are sharing your journey and hopefully motivating others to do the same thing. You look awesome!
Barbara, I agree…I wish I would of taken this serious sooner. But better late than never as they say!! Hugs, Laurie
WTG with the weight loss and being brave enough to do videos 😉 Sugar and carbs are what “fluff” me up. Cutting them helps me.
Yes, I had to put my big girl panties on to start making videos. LOL. It was scary, but seems to get better over time, just like anything else in life. Thanks for watching my friend.
Great video Laurie! I watched every second of it and am so proud of you. I’m 56 as of last month and have been overweight for several years but not grotesque obese. The video had me pause and think about how much sugar I actually consume. It’s amazinh how sugar is sort of hidden in products. Regular Coke obviously is loaded with it. I use Truvia in my coffee which I like more than sugar. As for water, your spot on about the cold water. I love water but warm water is so blah. Chill it down, way down and it turns into a delightful treat.
I’m considering starting a YouTube channel but need to look into the privacy settings. It’s been years since used YT, back when it was Ad Free. The ads are ridiculous. We shall see. By the way, I love your hair. 😬
Thanks JOHN. The You Tube is just a different ballgame for sure!
Congratulations sis, but guess what? I found a few of those pounds!!!!
Silly girl…Love Ya.
You are just hilarious!!
Laurie, CONGRATULATIONS .. not only on your weight loss but for you willingness to share all that you’ve been going through these past several months to get to this point. You’re an inspiration and may I add …. you look mahvelous!
I agree, absolutely marvelous!! Juchu, congratulations, Laurie! 🙂 ❤
Dina, I am so happy that you watched my video and commented here. It always delights me my friend. Hugs, Laurie
Kathy, you always have a way with words. I miss you!!
