Hello, Friends!!

I wanted to update you on life!

The holidays were fantastic! But, I did come down with a nasty head cold that put me in bed for a week.

The reason for the LONG rain delay here.

But, with a New Year comes New Beginnings…

It has been over 4 months, since I introduced to you my weight loss journey.

The journey has NOT been easy, but it does get a little easier day by day!

We can only take it one step at a time, am I right?

If you are in mid-life right now, you know how difficult weight loss can be!

I hope you will take a look at my video, as I talk about what it was like at this stage in my life, to start a weight loss program.

Just an FYI, I did not join any paid programs, there was no gimmicks, I did no heavy exercise and had no surgery.

Starting with baby steps, day in…day out.

I had lost 10 pounds before the holidays and haven’t done anything since, so I’ve been too nervous to get on the scales. So, thank you.   4. Congratulations! I did the same thing as I headed into perimenopause, by focusing on health and nutrition, and I’m so grateful I did. It made menopause so much easier – no hormones needed, minimal hot flashes, etc. I wish I had done it much sooner. I think it’s great you are sharing your journey and hopefully motivating others to do the same thing. You look awesome!

  5. Great video Laurie! I watched every second of it and am so proud of you. I’m 56 as of last month and have been overweight for several years but not grotesque obese. The video had me pause and think about how much sugar I actually consume. It’s amazinh how sugar is sort of hidden in products. Regular Coke obviously is loaded with it. I use Truvia in my coffee which I like more than sugar. As for water, your spot on about the cold water. I love water but warm water is so blah. Chill it down, way down and it turns into a delightful treat.

    I’m considering starting a YouTube channel but need to look into the privacy settings. It’s been years since used YT, back when it was Ad Free. The ads are ridiculous. We shall see. By the way, I love your hair. 😬
