We just got back from our Indianapolis trip to see Ahnalise and family!
The trip was relaxing and delightful.
Ahna couldn’t be any more cuter…sigh!
One of the things we love to do together is visiting wineries or brewery’s when we are in an area together.
They wanted to take us to a brewery that they just discovered lately called….Taxman Brewery Co.
This quaint Gastropub is in Bargersville, IN. If you blink, you will miss it indeed!
Nothing like a conversation and laughs over a pint…smile.

I don’t drink beer – don’t like it.
But – I would not be opposed to visiting a brewery.

I have wonderful memories of lots of pub visits from our trips over the years. We haven’t been to one, lately. Thanks for reminding me, we have a new Irish pub and we need to make a visit very soon! 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend.
Recently I visited Paris for a week and was surprised to see The Great Canadian Pub. For sure I decided to try it. It is really great and fun place, but the only things which are in common with real Canadian Pub the NHL and NBA games on the screens. Anyway, I enjoyed that lovely place.

They are so fun…you should venture out again.
Amazing how the craft beer industry has grown in recent years. From small towns to cities – there are many out there … and as we approach summer, I’m hoping one of the locals remakes their beet beer.

We don’t have many pubs, fun or otherwise, down here. The best pubs were those we visited in London. You must try The Black Lab in Houston near the University of St. Thomas. I look forward to more pictures of your trip.

There isn’t enough room in this little box to hold all the comments about good beer we had in Belgium. 🙂 I normally have maybe one beer a week. In Belgium, I had it for lunch, with pastries, and with dinner. LOL Good beer is a wonderful thing and to share it with your special family takes it to a whole other level of enjoyment. Hope you got lots of holding, rocking, and cuddling time in. 🙂

Happiness is a good pub Laurie. The Taxman appears to brew some fine ales, is that a stout in front? We usually have a pub lunch now and then. Hmm, a fun pub? Well that has changed over time, as a soldier it was any pub that had plenty of young ladies going there, or the potential for a bit of a fight. Then it became somewhere social to meet friends. Now it’s just two oldies wanting nothing more than a good feed. 🙂

Great trip, I haven’t been to a Brewery lately, but hubby and I attended the MidAtlantic Wine and Food Festival yesterday and I had a Brooklyn Summer Brew which was awesome!
Well, that festival sounds like a good time my friend.
