If You Want The Best Seat…
“If you want the best seat in the house, you will have to move the dog!”
Well, we have another character in the family who is also a little mischievous! A topic we talked about in the last post…
I wanted to show you the moments with this guy, that we have on a daily basis.
The routine goes something like this, the parents go into the bathroom for our nightly ritual of the toothbrush dance, washing face…well, you get the picture.
The minute he hears us turn on the water, he hurries and jumps on the bed and plops himself in MY SPOT to watch our evening duties.
When we turn off the water, he goes into this pose immediately!
Pretending he is SO tired, so we will not move him off our spot.
He knows it doesn’t work, but he never grows tired of trying to get the best seat in our house.
Do you have someone who always tries to take the best seat in your home?
We hope you have a great Labor Day weekend planned.

Adorable dog! And lovely description of the dog’s personality via this story! Not to be completely dramatic but I think dog’s are the epic symbol of unconditional love! Amazing photos…
Yes, their love to humans are amazing!
What a beautiful photograph. Reminds me of a doggie I saw a couple of year ago. Here’s the link to that posting:http://marygilmartin.wordpress.com/2012/12/30/the-fluffy-brown-dog/
Hi Laurie! What a beautiful doggie and so smart! Yes, I have my very own little pooch who also tries to steal the best seat in the house and the best spot on my bed. Ha,ha! 😀
A cat who probably get the spot before the dog 😉
Precious photo. My cats do the same thing.
He’s sooo cute….if I have such a cute looking dog, I wouldn’t mind giving up the best seat…LOL…
Thank you so much for sharing!
Cheers!! 😀
He lies there in the eternal hope that you’ll relent and leave him be. What a photogenic dog Laurie.
Cheers
Laurie.
I know exactly what you mean lol 🙂
They are our four legged kids..
You can’t blame a guy for trying!I don’t have a seat grabber, but I do have a child who disappears instantly when I say it’s almost bedtime. 😉
Lovely shots of this beauty! Mine know they cannot stay there…so when they here me coming, they leave silently, thinking/hoping I didn’t know where they had been…
OMG wat a sweetie. I’m sure you knew that I would love him 🙂
So so cute…AND beautiful! How could one not smile…. 🙂
LOL Laurie, such a cutie and beautifully captured in the guilty pose!thanks for sharing !
Adorable dog ~ great photos!
Look at those sweet eyes… definitely makes it difficult to move him! I’ve got a similar problem with two little boys 🙂
He’s too cute! And has exactly the same tricks as Bumble…they know their trade 🙂
He is so adorable, I would not want to move him either 🙂
Ha! It’s the exact same in my house. Gotta love ’em!

It is always a must to see your photographies…They are so beautiful !!!! the dog is great!!! (as well!!! 🙂 🙂 )
wow, Laurie, these are incredible shots of your mischievous one! Funny story, too 🙂
Such a little cutie! I wouldn’t have the heart to try and move him. He could have any seat he wanted. Both my sister’s and our daughter’s cats do the same. 🙂 Have a great weekend, Laurie. xx
How awesome, my cat does the same thing (but I am certain he takes up less space)! 🙂 Hope you have a safe and fun filled weekend!
This is common place over here with the dogs. I never have enough room to sleep on the bed, but I would never change it for anything!
What a sweet little fur ball! I love these shots!
Laurie,
Beautiful pictures as usual. He is adorable.

He’s both cute and smart! Adorable photos.
A perfect post for today – It’s National Dog Day! 🙂
What a cutie!
That is funny. He is smart and persistent. He may succeed one day 🙂
Yep, have two of the same….so adorable!!
Ahhh your baby is so precious!! Great pics! With a sweet face like that it would be hard to move him!! Hugz Lisa and Bear
My dogs do the exact same thing! And every night I have to move them over so I have a little bit of room to move!
I swear, I could have written this almost word-for-word, Laurie!
We go through pretty much the same thing each night with our little guy, but we also go through it in the morning too. I think we get up way too early for him! 🙂
Have a wonderful long weekend!
well we must have two peas in a pod.
So cute! Love the second shot, that’s how you melt hearts!
Happy Labor Day, Laurie and Matt. The whole family will be with us. We have had a very busy summer. We are planing to leave for Fl. on the 20 of Sept. Keep in touch. Love, Annie

No doubt the title is so true… 😉
So cute, very well captured… 🙂
He is so cute. Has such an amazing personality.
That’s definitely a charm offensive he’s got going on there! He’s beautiful!
We have a ‘TV seat’ that I have to vacate if my son’s at home. I don’t watch TV from it because I’m near sighted but it has the best light so there I sit, with my laptop, until James comes along. More fool me 🙂
Great captures….. what a cutie. My Bear dog would do something similar. He would sleep on my pillow and pretend not to notice me. Special creatures that add to our lives 🙂
What a beautiful dog! And so funny and smart. They know what you are going to do and will beat you to the best seat if they can!
Love him!
How adorable. He is way too comfortable on the best seat in the house 🙂 Beautiful images, Laurie.
We had a little lap rug like that for quite a while and she expected that we would make room at all times for her seating choices. 🙂
What a gorgeous little dog! Lovely portraits 🙂
Hi Jane! Nice to see my grandbaby; Sir Dalton! He is still so cute. Have a happy anniversary this week. Love you all. MOM
Oh it’s so cute! Nice details of the face)
Awww….sweet creature. Our furry family never give up hope that, maybe, just maybe, this will be their moment!
He is a real sweetie! Can’t blame a guy for trying …
It’s cunning and cute that he continues to try and woo you. Keeps you loving him more and more.
He is adorable, Love the first photo…
Beautiful dog and fantastic photo! Wow
