Blessings Times TWO…

When Daddy has to go out of town for work, Mommy and Little Man love to spend a little time visiting the dogs at the Pawn Springs Dog Park.

Of course, they invited Grammie and Papa to go along to enjoy the experience with them.

Don’t you just love the look on Little Man’s face when one of the dogs comes up to greet him?

How about the look on the furry one after he accomplishes his goal of a kiss, look at his smile. Hilarious!

Here are a few of the cuties we enjoyed…

Here is our “Furry Friend” Sir Dalton along for the journey.

This is one of the greatest dog parks I have ever seen. We are very blessed to live so close to it and enjoy all what it has to offer.

Little Man was just tickled with the whole experience as usual.

Did you wonder what the title of the post means, Blessed By TWO?…well hold on to your hat my friends.

Little Man is going to have a Baby Brother or Sister in March!!! Can you believe it?

This means Grammie and Papa are going to be blessed with TWO new grand babies within a six week span next year. Oh be still my heart!!!!!

Can you believe…years ago both of our daughters said, “We are NEVER EVER having children!” Smile…

I am so glad they changed their minds, aren’t you?

Chuckle for the day…Little Man’s Daddy was talking to him during lunch the other day about being a big brother. After the conversation, Little Man says, “So after I eat my food and take a nap, then I will be a big brother?” Daddy chuckles…”Well, not quite that fast my man.” “These things take some time.”

The innocence of children…no wonder they are such a delight.

We are enjoying your photos and travels. Did not know you had a Hungarian Grandmother. I did also. Both my Grandparents, my Dad’s parents, were from Hungary and my Mom and I made all kinds of crepes. Yummy!!! Your pic made me hungry. Also lots of stuffed cabbage. Of course, my Mom had a German step-mother and did lots of German cooking.

Kathy should be in California by now enjoying her family. We will miss her, but know how she loves her kids. We are all watching out for Vivian, but she keeps busy with her lady friends and Jack and I will catch-up with her Sunday in church. She is coming with Tom, which is unusual. But “good for her”!!

We have Trivia tomorrow nite at the club. We love it-do not do that well, but lots of fun with our group. I enjoy asking our kids the questions after.

Well, Grandma, Grandpa rest up – good times are coming!!

How incredibly exciting! I had my two granddaughters born a week apart and they are so incredibly close. It is wonderful when cousins are born close together. I hope geographically they are close enough to get together often! I will be having my third grandchild in October. My daughter will be having her second baby! Isn’t it just the best! Congratulations, Matt and Laurie, What great news!!! They are the best. Gavin was in a 5 state track meet over the weekend and did his best time in all 3 races to qualify for the Nationals in Texas. He ran a 3000(8 times around the track) and took a third. He ran a 1500 and photo finished in 4 th place. Ran an 800 and took 4 th. He knew before the race that if he did qualify he wouldn’t be going to Texas. He just wanted to better his times. We are so proud of him. Mikey will be coming back to the shore tonight because his team has been doing very well with the baseball and they just keep moving on. He had a triple the other night. Next we will be going to see Devyn in a swim meet. They are busy, busy, busy!!! See what you have to look forward to? Nolan looks so grown up.
