Don’t Wait for Perfect…
Bonus Inspiration: I was drinking my coffee this morning and a friend sent me this video.
Can I tell you how this completed a perfect morning?!!
SO good…go watch for yourself…Brandon Stranton’s Humans of N.Y. It is a short video and will make you smile.
Brandon’s advice for you: Don’t wait for perfect!
Don’t wait for something to be fully formed in your head to start on it.
Just Start!
Then work it out as you go!
I bet Willie Mays didn’t wait for perfect!
The image above was taken during our vacation to San Francisco a couple of years ago.
I thought it was very appropriate for this time of year…The Major League Baseball Playoffs.
Have a great weekend my friends.
Now go watch this video…you will be so glad you did.
Addendum to the post…The next day, USA Today…the paper wrote a huge one page article on this gentleman in the lifestyle section☺

That video was so inspiring! I’ve seen images here and there, but had never seen this interview. I love this kind of storytelling photography. Amazing!
Great words to live by! So often I find myself “just waiting a little bit longer” for something to be “just right”. Instead I just be make it happen and adjust along the way. 🙂

Autumn greetings from Poland.
Thank you, Laurie! I really enjoyed the video. When the young fellow said that the saddest moment of his life was when his dad left – I almost cried. A boy needs a dad.
Blessings ~ Wendy
These playoffs are killing me. Games have all been pretty close. I’m hoping the Red Sox make it. We’ll see…

Enjoyed the video and the way this photographer is randomly selecting people who turn out to be very interesting.
We all have our stories … don’t we????
