Be The Reason…
Royal Poinciana is a large spreading tree that grows to about 40 feet tall and can spread up to 60 feet wide! HUGE! It is an excellent shade tree and is well known in Florida for its prolific display of reddish-orange blossoms that cover the top of the tree in the late spring and early summer.
This photographer needed to have a creative moment and produce a little Vintage Art. We are hoping to open a Etsy or Redbubble shop down the road. I will be including a few of these as prints.
Vintage art is classic in design and very much still desired in today’s world. Vintage is often looked upon as something good from the past, something longed for, and something nostalgic. Vintage art plays many roles in today’s society.
I would love to have your feedback on this retro look…
Tip of the Day for Bloggers/Photographers:
Have you considered Lightroom for processing your photos?
It took a lot of people to convince me that this is the route to go.
This girl loves her Photoshop…and just didn’t want to part waves.
But can I tell you, it has been a delight to work with my friend!!
The best part, it doesn’t have to replace Photoshop, it can be the perfect companion.
So why all the hubbub? Well, this is a mighty machine that can process images in the speed of light.
Is time of value to you? I encourage you to give this fabulous software a try.
I don’t think you will be sorry♥
Well, as you are reading this, I am off to see the cutest little man in the world! Yes, I am very biased…but it has been forever since this grandma has been able to hold this precious boy in my arms.
Looking forward to reading your comments…
I will be back on Monday or Tuesday.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

Vintage look works out quite well for these photos!
Laurie, I loved this! It is so beautiful!! Have a great time with little man. Is Tarzan going fishing in your absence, or does he get to go along? Talk about vintage– The Bremen Garage sales are this week, and I spent two days ushering people around town. My feet are vintage! Love you girl!

Beautiful vintage photos…prints will be amazing, I’m sure!
A professional photographer friend of mine told me about Lightroom – she swears by it and says it is much more user friendly than Photoshop. I think I may have to look into it. And about your vintage photos – they are absolutely gorgeous. I’ll be watching for that Esty shop!
You definitely brought a smile to my face with your post today 🙂

So beautiful. Reminds me a little of those Japanese paintings featuring orange blossoms.
Lovely set of images with your usual touch. I have two grandchildren, and the joy of their company is always memorable.
Beautiful photos + (vintage) processing Laurie! I use Lightroom for processing and love it. There are some really helpful tutorial videos on Adobe’s website if you’re interested… am about to open up my Etsy shop this August! Hope to see you there 🙂

Super gorgeous photos ….!!!!
The Royal Poinciana is a beautiful tree. I am familiar with it as I am here in Florida to enjoy it.
Happy visit with the grandbaby.
Have a wonderful time with that cute little boy. I am not used to associating the Poinciana with such delicate tones but it works very well especially the very first image with words which is really lovely.
