Life Is Really Simple…
Life Is Really Simple, But We Insist On Making It Complicated.
To enjoy the beauty that can be found in the ordinary and to be reminded of just how important the simple things are!
Tip of the Day for Bloggers/Photographers:
Bloggers…did you know you can link your photos?
Most blogs will have text that have been hyper-linked but you can link the photos too.
Another powerful way to grab attention is to link your images!
It is just one more way to direct the reader to another source, you would like them to visit.
This could be another page on your blog or even another social media site.
The possibilities are endless where you could link.
With the long weekend upon us, I hope you will take some time to slow down and make life just a little simpler.
I must run…the beach chair is calling.

So wonderful and well captured photos… π
yeah, life is simple but somehow we always make it so complicated…thanks for the sweet reminder!! Now “simply” enjoy that beach chair my friend!!
What cute dinosaur structures – reminds of Land Before Time π As a kid, I know I’d love them π
I rarely use my own photos; but, I almost always link the photos to the original source by way of acknowledgement.
Lots of good hints here. Blog on …
Making things more complicated is something we do the best π Beautiful photos!
That last photograph totally reminds me of that game Kerplunk! All they needed was a huge marble in between the sticks! Great post and I am glad you are enjoying your holiday to the fullest! π
Oh my word, we could not think of the name of this game….now why didn’t we just ask you?βΊ
Yep, as soon as I saw it, it reminded me of that game!
Love the elephant! So fun! π
I do love posts with photos, and thank you for this tip. I also agree with your statement, we should keep life simple – so much easier. π
Terrific and looks like a lot of fun!
I am instantly more drawn to a post if it has photos! These are nice, and you’re right, life’s got a lot of things simple and fantastic that don’t need to be muddled up with difficult. π Happy weekend to you!
Love all the bright colors, and lines.
Fun ! Quick Laurie … chairs, picnic ,bucket and spade, sunshade, refreshments and not forgetting your camera π … enjoy …
I love this post Laurie! The sculptures are wonderful and the words are perfect. Truly something we try to live by everyday. We find so much joy in the simplicity of just watching the birds and bunnies in our yard. So simple, yet so peaceful and wonderful.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
These are really lovely, Laurie!
Can you be more specific about how to link one image to another. Great quote–and Thoreau’s: “Simplify, simplify, simplify.”
Here is a link that should help you understand what I was teaching on linking an image.

The title of the post and the pictures keep me thinking. I guess that is our nature that we like to create simple or complicate.
