Sister Style…

sister-love
For our new friends here at Pride in Photos….our two daughters! The love between these two is immense. They are both fully grown and flown the coop! Yes, we are now the empty nesters….sigh.

Here is “OUR” baby….walking our grandson “Little Man”…her sisters child. We told her, she needs the practice….the reason for the laughter.family-of-five-being-spunky
The “SISTAS” giving their mother “Attitude”….see it doesn’t stop even after they are not in the coop anymore☺family-of-five-fort-myers-p family-photography-fort-mye our-family-portrait

My Sister

What you mean to me,
Is more than I can express.
You see, I had no sister when I was little
To call when I was in distress. When we first met,
We had no clue,
What was getting ready to happen,
Was not completely out of the blue.God had a plan,
Throughout all the years,
He was making us for each other,
To share life’s smiles and tears.I never could have imagined,
What a sister’s love was about,
Until I met you,
And then I really found out.A sister’s love is unconditional,
It’s a love has no end,
A sister’s love wants the best for each other,
It’s a love that will always defend.Sometimes we may get mad,
Or we may begin to fight,
But that’s the fun part about having a sister,
We both think we’re always right!I’m so glad that I did not have,
A sister in the past,
It’s made me much more thankful,
For the sister I have at last.
These two girls have an unspeakable bond for each other. As they were growing up, I had a rule! If you hurt the other ones feelings, you had to give them a kiss and tell them “I am sorry sissy…I love you.”  Now don’t get me wrong, there were times…they didn’t always want to do this! But them were the RULES!!!! I truly believe in my heart, one of the reason for their close ties to this day.
Do you have a special sister or brother in your family?
Well here we are in 2013…make it a special one today.

  1. Beautiful family and uplifting post! i only have one daughter ( and two sons ), so my daughter and I are each others sister since I never really had one that I could hang out with in the traditional sense. 🙂 Your grandson is a cutie-cake!
