Saucy Sausalito…California Part 3
This is part 3 of our California Journey. Part 1 click here. Part 2 click here.
Sausalito is across from the Golden Gate Bridge from San Fransisco. It is a very unique and picturesque community. Did you know that Sausalito was named one of the 3 “Happiest Seaside Towns” by Coastal Living Magazine? One of the magazines I devour every month!☺ I found SO many lovely things about this city.
- Lush Scenery
- Open Marinas Everywhere
- Houseboats
- Floating Home Communities
- Cafe’ Life
- Bohemian Roots
- Artists Colony
I just HAD to throw this adorable photo in with the bunch♥ We are standing on Main Street in Sausalito with my youngest daughter and her husband. They go in for a kiss and look what my silly husband does! He squats down in between them and sticks his head through the opening! Nobody even knew he was doing this, including myself the photographer. We just laughed so hard when we saw it on the photo. Some people just have to be in lights☺
Did you enjoy your little trip to Sausalito?
I would love to know what photo you loved best?
I was featured on Scattered Horizons Photography for the close up of the sailboat photo in today’s post!
Leave you sweet comments below…and have a terrific day!

Such a pretty place! I love the boats and the water and sky that are soooooo blue! My favorite photo is the one with the flowers overlooking the view. I laughed when I finally noticed your hubby peeking at us in the last picture. I don’t think I would have noticed if you didn’t tell! So cute! xx
Lovely assortment of shots. I don’t usually care for people shots but your artist taking a break is pretty cool.
Beautiful images! Stopping by from SITS 🙂

Hi Laurie,
I loved Sauseltito. When my college friend and I went to San Fran for a month we swam in Sauselitito. That was back in the early 6o’s!!! What a great place. Our favorite was Carmel.
Your pictures are beautiful.
