I Can’t Believe I’m Loom Knitting…Ft.Myers, Florida Photographer
I have to shout out a BIG thank you to my sister-in-law Tami! Last weekend, she brought her knitting loom to our family get together and taught me how to knit on the Knifty Knitter! As soon as I watched her do a few cast on’s I was HOOKED! It reminded me of the good ole days when I was younger and had so much fun making pot holders for my relatives. Do you remember doing this when you were a child? It is about the same technique but with a more mature spin on it. I couldn’t wait to go to Joannes Fabric Store and buy my own knitting loom and yarn.I decided on the Deborah Norville Yarn, it is very soft and beautiful. Who knew that Deborah had her own line of yarn? I just love these colors, don’t you?
I bought the smallest loom size which is the number one, 5.5 inches. It is great for Baby Hats, Booties, Belts and more.
This is what comes in your kit, minus the yarn.
As pictured…my first row of knitting.
After several rows, you can see progress…
Oh my word…I DID IT! Very excited!
Basic hat is finished!
I added a pom pom for the cutestness effect! Isn’t it adorable?
Do you have any idea who this hat might be for?
Leave your comments and tell me what you think of the Knifty Knitter!
Visit provocraft.com to view their other looms and patterns.
Happy Wednesday to you!

I can totally see myself getting into something like this!!!!
Thank you so much for visiting this blog. You just can’t believe how much fun this was…so easy and relaxing! I was even able to watch a tv show and talk to the hubby while look knitting away:)
I tried knitting once, but I would always get distracted and lose count of my stitches. Hence, lopsided garments…:(
Exactly right…that is why LOOM knitting is so nice, no more lopsided garments:)
Laurie,
I can’t believe you made that hat on that little loom. I use to knit. Many moons ago.
Annie
It is amazing how small the loom is and what projects you can turn out with it.
The hat is adorable must be for Nolan.
You guessed correctly…very hard to figure out:)
Knitting……..where DO you find the time? This is adorable! Almost wish I had a little one (grand, that is!) to be so inspired for! Laurie, in the good old days, I knitted, crocheted, sewed, made several latch-hook rugs (remember those?). My, my…..that was a long time ago!
Yes, I remember well the latch-hook rugs…made several myself. My sister in law makes the knitted hats for a crisis pregnancy center. Isn’t that sweet of her?
